Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is looking for a Developmental Pediatrician BC/BE in either Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities to join our team in Central Texas. The child development physicians and psychologists at McLane Children's Scott & White provide a comprehensive individualized medical and developmental assessment of children with developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder and/or behavioral and learning differences.Position Highlights:
- Physician will be second in the group
- Opportunity to provide comprehensive development assessments & care to a broad range of children
- Outpatient only with no inpatient rounding or consultations
- Psychotropic medication management is optional
- Strong multidisciplinary support from related specialties, including pediatric neurology, genetics, child psychology, child psychiatry, & rehabilitative care specialists
- Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects
- Opportunity to work with pediatric residents and medical students
- Leadership opportunities exist
- Academic rank at Texas A&M College of Medicine commensurate with experience
About McLane Children's Medical Center:
Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free standing Children's Hospital. The hospital features include 112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24- hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty or demonstrate certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
