The Opportunity
You will provide counselling for individuals, couples, and families, conduct trauma-informed assessments, and contribute to group programs in a supportive, structured environment. You will also benefit from funded clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to support your registration and practice. Regular case reviews and multidisciplinary collaboration will provide strong support in managing complex presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality clinical counselling and case management.
Maintain accurate, confidential clinical notes and client records.
Liaise with families, treatment providers, and colleagues to coordinate care.
Participate in group programs and service engagement activities.
Skills and Experience
Current registration and one of the following qualifications:Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Nurse with AHPRA registration; OR
Social Worker with AASW membership; OR
Masters-level Counsellor registered with PACFA (Clinical) or ACA (Level 3/4).
Strong interpersonal skills and experience delivering trauma-informed, client-centred intake, assessment and brief intervention with vulnerable clients.
Ability to complete accurate intake assessments, documentation and risk assessments tailored to presenting risk.
Current knowledge of relevant policies, with adherence to procedures including risk escalation, reporting and documentation.
High-level written and verbal communication skills.
Sound judgement and ability to respond to critical incidents calmly and effectively.
Strong IT skills with confidence using clinical systems and equipment.
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must be Australian Citizens
Hold a current Baseline security clearance
Successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check
Currently hold or ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People registration OR currently hold or ability to obtain a Working with Children check
