- Assistant Professor of Psychology - Developmental Psychology Tenure Track

GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in developmental psychology beginning Fall 2026. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. We seek a candidate with a strong background and interest in teaching courses in developmental psychology. The department’s free standing preschool laboratory provides the infrastructure for teaching and research in psychological development. The ability to teach introductory psychology, research methods and/or statistics is highly desirable. Our faculty teach a lively laboratory-based curriculum embedded within a natural science perspective. The department’s strong commitment to inclusivity is evident by our record of success in attracting and retaining students from diverse backgrounds. Our innovative curriculum enables exploration of the boundaries and interdisciplinary potentials of the discipline. Our welcoming mentoring community supports the development of faculty and students alike.
